Project Manager – Workday HRIS

Manage a regional Workday transformation, overseeing implementation partners, system delivery and business readiness from planning through successful launch.

Job Duties

• Drive a large-scale Workday HRIS programme from planning through launch and post-implementation support.
• Partner with the system integrator and business teams to keep project schedules, costs, deliverables and resources on track.
• Translate HR needs into practical system solutions through workshops, workflow reviews and requirement analysis.
• Coordinate data conversion, interfaces, user testing, security reviews, deployment and user readiness across project phases.
• Establish effective project governance, track key decisions and address delivery gaps, risks and dependencies.
• Work with regional HR and corporate functions to align priorities and support business adoption.
• Review vendor outputs and system readiness to ensure agreed standards and business expectations are met.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and transition of the new platform to BAU support teams.

Job Requirements

• Degree in IT, Business, HR, Project Management or a related discipline.
• At least one full-cycle Workday implementation project is essential, from planning/design through go-live and post-launch support.
• Around 10 years of experience in HR systems, technology transformation or enterprise application projects.
• Strong background in managing external implementation partners and senior business stakeholders.
• Sound understanding of Workday HCM, HR processes, system integration, data conversion and testing.
• Previous exposure to regional, multi-site or multi-entity system rollouts is highly desirable.
• Able to manage project priorities, dependencies and challenges in a complex business environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English; Chinese language capability is an advantage.
• Relevant project management, business analysis or Workday certification would be beneficial.
