Investment Bank Project Manager (Contract, 60-65k)

A leading bank seeks an Investment Bank Project Manager (Contract) in Hong Kong to drive business transformation projects and strengthen operational excellence across Asia and the Middle East.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead regional operations and transformation projects by coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, IT, Compliance, Legal, and Front Office to deliver successful outcomes
• Drive PMO governance by overseeing project planning, RAID management, reporting, dashboards, and executive updates to ensure timely and transparent delivery
• Bridge business and technology teams by gathering requirements, preparing test cases, supporting implementation, and ensuring solutions meet operational needs
• Identify and implement process improvement and change management initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, standardisation, and stakeholder adoption across the region
• Maintain accurate project documentation while facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement to build alignment, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement

Candidate profile:

• 3–5 years’ project management experience within investment banking operations, delivering transformation and operational change initiatives
• Degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline, with a strong understanding of investment banking operations and financial products
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other PC tools for project planning, reporting, documentation, and analysis
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, IT, Compliance, Legal, and Front Office in a fast-paced banking environment
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and fluency in English
