DevOps, Azure Focus (Contract, Investment Management)

A leading investment management organisation seeks a DevOps Consultant - Azure Focus (Contract) in Hong Kong to drive Azure and GitHub automation, strengthening secure, compliant, and scalable technology operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and maintain secure, scalable Azure infrastructure supporting critical financial services operations and business needs
• Optimise cloud data workflows and storage to ensure reliability, performance, scalability, and security
• Own and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, enforcing segregation of duties, audit controls, and regulatory compliance
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform or ARM templates, leveraging PowerShell, Python, or Bash for troubleshooting and cloud optimisation
• Monitor and optimise cloud performance using Azure Monitor and Application Insights, drive AI-assisted DevOps workflows, and advise cross-functional teams on emerging technologies

Candidate profile:

• Demonstrated DevOps or Cloud Operations experience with Microsoft Azure, ideally in financial services or another regulated industry
• Hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, ARM templates, Docker, and AKS
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash, alongside solid cloud networking and troubleshooting skills
• Experience designing compliant CI/CD processes that incorporate segregation of duties, audit controls, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, and business stakeholders. Azure certifications and knowledge of Databricks, Synapse Analytics, or AI/ML are advantageous
