DevOps, Azure focus (Contract, Investment Management)

A leading investment management organisation seeks a DevOps Consultant - Azure Focus (Contract) in Hong Kong to drive Azure and GitHub automation, strengthening secure, compliant, and scalable technology operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and maintain secure, scalable Azure infrastructure supporting critical financial services operations and business needs
• Optimise Azure data workflows and storage while ensuring reliability, performance, scalability, and security across cloud platforms
• Own CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, enforcing segregation of duties, audit controls, and regulatory compliance
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform or ARM templates, with PowerShell, Python, or Bash for troubleshooting, optimisation, and cloud operations
• Monitor and enhance cloud performance using Azure Monitor and Application Insights, while driving AI-assisted DevOps workflows and advising cross-functional teams on emerging technologies

Candidate profile:

• Proven DevOps or Cloud Operations experience with Microsoft Azure, preferably within financial services or other regulated industries
• Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, ARM templates, Docker, and AKS for cloud automation and deployment
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash, with solid cloud networking and troubleshooting capabilities
• Experience designing compliant CI/CD processes with segregation of duties, audit controls, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborative experience with developers, architects, and business stakeholders; Azure certifications, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and AI/ML knowledge are advantageous
