Junior Data Engineer (Open to Fresh Graduates)

In this role, you’ll help develop and maintain data pipelines, improve data quality, and create reports and dashboards. This role is suitable for early-career candidates, including fresh graduates with strong potential.

• Build, maintain, and test cloud-based data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Support data schema design, data modelling, and mapping-table development.
• Perform data quality checks and reconcile data between source and target systems.
• Maintain reports and develop dashboards for business users.
• Explore and analyse data to answer business questions and identify insights.
• Document data logic, pipelines, and reports clearly.
• Work with analysts and business stakeholders to translate data needs into practical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Candidates from other disciplines are also welcome.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience is a plus; fresh graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.
• Hands-on experience with Python and SQL, or equivalent programming languages.
• Familiarity with a data visualisation tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or Looker Studio.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Google Cloud Platform; AWS or Azure experience is also relevant
• Detail-oriented and careful when checking and validating data.
• Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
• Eager to learn and comfortable working in a small team.
