Assistant Business Analytics Manager - Banking

A leading financial institution seeks an Assistant Business Analytics Manager in Hong Kong to drive credit analytics and regulatory model development, strengthening risk reporting and business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting analytics for regulatory IRB models and credit decisioning models within credit card portfolios
• Collaborate with Finance, Business, IT, Data Office, and other business units to ensure effective support for credit, model development, and system implementation
• Contribute to the review of end-to-end regulatory reporting processes and the control management framework for risk reporting across various regulatory requirements
• Work closely with stakeholders to support business initiatives and provide insights and recommendations through analytical methodologies

Candidate profile:

• Strong analytical abilities with expertise in data analysis using tools such as SAS, SQL, Tableau, or Python
• At least 2 years’ relevant banking experience, particularly in credit analytics with a focus on IRB models, credit decision models, and data management
• Self-driven individual with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders (e.g., IT and Finance) effectively to support analytics efforts and offer recommendations based on data-driven insights
