Business Analytics/AI Solutions Specialist - Financial Service

Banking opportunity for analytics talent to drive business insights and develop innovative data and AI solutions using GCP, Python and emerging GenAI technologies.

Job Duties

• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data, analytics and AI can improve business performance, customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Analyse complex and high-volume datasets to uncover trends, customer behaviours and actionable business insights.
• Translate business challenges into practical analytics or AI solutions and provide recommendations to support management decision-making.
• Develop analytical models and perform data exploration using Python, SQL and BigQuery.
• Design dashboards and management reporting using Tableau or QlikSense to communicate insights and performance trends.
• Support the development of AI-enabled products and business use cases, from requirement gathering and solution design through testing and implementation.
• Explore applications of Generative AI and NLP technologies, including LLMs, RAG and vector-based solutions.
• Collaborate with technology, data, product and business teams to ensure analytics and AI solutions meet business requirements.
• Monitor solution performance, identify enhancement opportunities and support the continuous improvement of data and AI capabilities.

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2-5+ years Relevant experience in business analytics, data analytics, data science, AI solutions or digital product development.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with practical experience using BigQuery and working within a GCP environment.
• Experience with data visualisation and dashboarding tools such as Tableau or QlikSense.
• Good understanding of machine learning concepts and their application to business problems.
• Exposure to Generative AI technologies, particularly LLMs, NLP, RAG or vector databases, would be highly advantageous.
• Ability to work between business and technical teams, turning business needs into analytics or AI product requirements.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Banking or financial services experience would be an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English.
