Machine Learning Ops - Global Financial Services

A global financial services firm seeks a Machine Learning Ops Specialist in Hong Kong to enhance its global ML platform and drive scalable best practices across markets.

Key responsibilities:

As an MLOps Specialist, you will drive reliable ML operations, strengthen global architecture, and enable scalable solutions across international markets.

• Own the automation, monitoring, and reliable operation of ML pipelines within the global financial services environment
• Lead and maintain MLOps best practices, optimising workflows and supporting technical teams with onboarding and guidance
• Improve the global ML architecture by identifying enhancements and coordinating biannual deployment of solutions across multiple markets
• Monitor performance, align progress with the Department Global Head, and contribute technical expertise to cross-functional data-driven initiatives
• Collaborate onsite in Hong Kong with an international team of 15+ AI/ML Engineers and Data Business Analysts to share knowledge, resolve issues, and deliver shared goals

Candidate profile:

• 4–12 years’ experience in Machine Learning Operations, Data Science, or Data Engineering within collaborative environments
• Proficiency in MLOps platforms, including pipeline automation, deployment strategies, monitoring, troubleshooting, and cloud-based ML or distributed computing environments
• Experience in international or multicultural teams, with fluency in English and strong cross-cultural communication skills
• Startup or fast-growing organisation exposure, with adaptability, continuous learning, strong organisation, and the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated knowledge sharing, mentoring, peer support, and commitment to supportive leadership and communal success
