Head of Data & AI Platform - Tier 1 Financial Services

◾️Reports to the Chief AI Officer and be part of a growing team in HK and SG ◾️Massive amount of investment put into in AI and at group level ◾️Design and build modern Agentic driven platform ◾️Rely on 50+ resources across APAC for the delivery part ◾️Drive senior business stakeholders and C-Levels engagement within Technology, Transformation and multiples businesses

Looking a Head of AI & Data platform to lead the end-to-end design, engineering, and scaling of enterprise data and AI platforms and supporting data and AI services across a global, federated organisation.

Scope:

Own the Group Data & AI architecture, engineering, and platform strategy
• Lead delivery across:
o Data Engineering
o AI/ML Engineering
o Platform Engineering (Azure & GCP ecosystems)
• Drive execution across multiple markets (LBUs) in a federated model
• Lead large-scale SI partner ecosystems and internal engineering teams
• Manage a large-scale offshore team

You'll focus on:

Group Data & AI Architecture Leadership

Platform Engineering & Delivery Ownership

Hands-On Technical Leadership

AI Engineering & Enablement

Federated Model Execution

Large-Scale Delivery Leadership

Governance, Risk & Compliance by Design

Executive & Stakeholder Engagement

What you bring:

15+ years’ experience within Financial Services

Track record into:

o Leading enterprise-scale platform transformation programs
o Hands on experience in Hyperscalers and preferably Azure or GCP
o Delivering across multi-country or federated organisations
o Managing large teams (SI partners and internal resources)
o Solid data architecture and platform architecture at scale experience
o Experience working for organisations like Microsoft, Google, and Amazon in this area will
be an added advantage

Technical expertise into:

o Azure Databricks

o Data engineering (batch and streaming)
o AI/ML engineering and MLOps
o Lakehouse and distributed data architectures

o Engineering & Architecture

Location: Hong Kong or Singapore - Permanent role
Salary budget: HKD 1.5 to 2.5 mill/ basic salary + generous bonus + LTI
Interview process: 4 rounds
Start date: October/November 2026
