Operation Director (F&B, System Transformation)

A leading food and beverage organisation seeks an Operations Director in Hong Kong to drive system transformation, optimise business operations, and support strategic growth.

Key responsibilities:

As Operations Director, you will lead business transformation and operational excellence by driving strategic initiatives, strengthening cross-functional alignment, and leveraging technology to support business growth.

• Evaluate existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive operational transformation to ensure efficiency and continuity
• Develop and implement business strategies, operational plans, and standard operating procedures, overseeing execution to achieve short- and long-term objectives
• Strengthen collaboration and alignment across department heads while managing relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and strategic partners
• Bridge senior management and operational teams by translating strategic objectives into actionable plans, monitoring execution, and providing transparent progress updates to the Management Team
• Lead digital transformation initiatives by identifying and leveraging emerging technologies, including automation, AI, and data analytics, to enhance operational efficiency
• Oversee ERP implementation and optimisation (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), aligning IT strategies with business objectives and managing multiple priorities across corporate and SME environments

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with over 10 years’ experience in business operations and process management
• Strong IT expertise with hands-on experience in ERP implementation and optimisation, including SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
• Industry exposure in Retail, Food, or FMCG, with experience across large corporate organisations and SME environments
• Proven ability to identify process gaps, implement scalable solutions, and drive operational efficiency across complex organisations
• Strong analytical mindset, sound business judgment, and data-driven decision-making, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across all organisational levels, fluent in English, Chinese, and Mandarin, with a collaborative approach to teamwork and knowledge sharing
