A leading global electronics manufacturer seeks a Senior Manager, Trade Compliance in Hong Kong to lead customs strategy, optimise COO processes, and strengthen global compliance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the global customs compliance framework, ensuring consistent governance and regulatory alignment across regions
  • Drive Country of Origin (COO) strategy across key manufacturing markets, balancing compliance, supply chain, and business objectives
  • Develop manufacturing process strategies that optimise COO outcomes and improve operational efficiency
  • Standardise global SOPs and strengthen customs data governance while ensuring logistics processes meet trade compliance requirements
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance to embed trade compliance into business processes and deliver sustainable improvements

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related discipline
  • 12–15 years’ experience in customs compliance, trade compliance, or global logistics
  • Strong experience in Country of Origin (COO) requirements and multi-country manufacturing environments; EMS experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of global customs regulations, HS classification, and trade agreements, including ASEAN, USMCA, and EU frameworks
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage complex cross-functional requirements
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin; Spanish language skills are an advantage
