Manager - Air Freight Capacity

A leading logistics organisation seeks a Manager (Air Freight Capacity) in Hong Kong to optimise regional air freight capacity, driving cost-effective solutions and supply chain performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and execute air freight product and capacity strategies aligned with organisational goals and network requirements
• Lead airline and co-loader rate, capacity, and Block Space Agreement (BSA) negotiations to optimise costs and service quality
• Guide regional and country teams on product and capacity best practices, ensuring consistent network standards and performance
• Develop tailored air freight solutions for perishables, pharmaceuticals, and aviation customers while meeting service and budget requirements
• Own carrier management plans, budgets, productivity targets, allocation services, and performance reporting to drive operational excellence
• Strengthen airline and customer relationships, maintain capacity databases, and improve processes and systems through best-practice implementation

Candidate profile:

• 8+ years’ logistics operations experience within the supply chain sector
• Air freight product and capacity management experience across perishables, pharmaceuticals, and aviation
• Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook for data analysis, reporting, and operational support
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, particularly with airlines and co-loaders
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Form 7 or above, or equivalent Qualifications Framework (QF) qualification; immediate availability is an advantage
