In the current Policy Address 2024, the Hong Kong government has further reinforced its commitment to attracting foreign talent, with initiatives to position Hong Kong as a key player in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) talent landscape and building Hong Kong into an international hub for high-calibre talent.
As of the latest update, the Hong Kong government has approved over 62,000 applications under the Top Talent Pass Scheme (TTPS). From the 2024 data from the Immigration Department, 95% of these approved applications are from Mainland China.
