Our client is a well-established hospitality group operating a portfolio of hotels and hospitality businesses across Hong Kong and Asia. They are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support business growth, with a strong focus on talent acquisition and cross-border recruitment.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager will oversee a full spectrum of HR functions with a primary focus on talent acquisition. The successful candidate will play a key role in recruiting hospitality professionals from Mainland China to Hong Kong, managing end-to-end recruitment processes, visa applications, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for hotel and hospitality positions across various levels.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract talent from Mainland China.
  • Manage China labour recruitment projects, including candidate sourcing, selection, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Handle employment visa applications and related immigration processes to ensure compliance with Hong Kong regulations.
  • Coordinate onboarding and employee integration programs for new hires.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and provide recruitment solutions.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical hospitality functions.
  • Support employee lifecycle activities and general HR operations when required.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws, employment regulations, and internal HR policies.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance talent acquisition effectiveness and employee experience.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition and recruitment.
  • Solid experience in China labour recruitment, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, tourism, or service industry.
  • Hands-on experience with the Enhanced Supplementary Labour Scheme (ESLS).
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing channels and recruitment practices in Mainland China.
  • Proven experience handling employment visa applications, work permits, and onboarding processes for cross-border hires.
  • Familiarity with Hong Kong employment ordinances and HR best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Experience within the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
