A leading real estate organisation seeks a Head of Learning and Talent Development in Hong Kong to drive workforce transformation through enterprise-wide learning strategies and build a high-performing talent pipeline.

Position overview:

The Head of Learning & Talent Development is a pivotal people leader responsible for setting the strategic vision, architecture, and implementation roadmap for enterprise-wide learning, leadership development, and capability building. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), this role owns the full talent growth lifecycle to build a resilient, high-performing workforce pipeline for the future of the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a progressive, future-focused Learning & Talent Development strategy aligned with corporate growth plans and workforce transformation goals
  • Lead, guide, and coach the L&D team, overseeing end-to-end program delivery, instructional design, operational budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Own the organisational talent management framework; design targeted leadership programs, high-potential (HiPo) tracking, and succession plans to secure future leadership capabilities
  • Drive digital learning transformation by integrating modern methodologies—including AI adoption, smart learning tools, micro-learning, and experiential frameworks
  • Partner closely with HRBPs and business heads to diagnose capability gaps, assess future skill requirements, and deploy customised capability-building initiatives
  • Establish robust metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness, ROI, and business impact of all learning programs and talent interventions

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • A Master’s degree or relevant OD/coaching certifications (e.g., ICF, MBTI, Hogan) are an advantage
  • Minimum of 15+ years’ progressive L&D and talent management experience, including at least 3–5 years in a team leadership capacity within a sizeable corporate environment
  • Proven track record of designing modern, blended learning architectures and leveraging technology to scale learning
  • Deep expertise in talent mapping, competency modeling, leadership development, and executive succession planning
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, and executive presence, with a demonstrated ability to influence C-level stakeholders and navigate complex organisational landscapes
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
