Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with company goals.
- Provide expert HR advice on organisational design, workforce planning, employee relations, and talent management.
- Support change management initiatives associated with business growth and transformation.
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Lead recruitment activities across retail stores and head office functions.
- Develop sourcing strategies to attract high-calibre talent in a competitive market.
- Strengthen employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's market reputation.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive employee engagement programmes and initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Develop and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and improve employee satisfaction.
- Partner with management to promote diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing.
Performance Management & Talent Development
- Manage the performance review process and support managers in performance coaching.
- Identify talent development needs and implement effective learning and development programmes.
- Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
- Review and benchmark compensation and benefits programmes to ensure market competitiveness.
- Participate in annual salary review and bonus planning exercises.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide recommendations based on workforce analytics.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee relations matters and provide guidance on disciplinary and grievance cases.
- Maintain accurate HR records and oversee HR systems and processes.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Experience in retail, consumer, FMCG, or other fast-paced customer-facing industries is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee engagement, talent development, and performance management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR initiatives with commercial objectives.
- Analytical mindset with experience using HR data and metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
