A leading global technology organisation is undergoing a major business and workforce transformation and seeks a Senior Manager, People & Culture to help shape its future. Partnering closely with senior leaders, you will drive strategic people initiatives, modernise HR operations, and advance digital innovation across Hong Kong and Asia Pacific. What You'll Do

As the Senior Manager, People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in driving organisational transformation and business growth by partnering closely with senior leaders to shape and execute people strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement people strategies that support organisational priorities and growth objectives, translating business plans into actionable workforce initiatives across organisational design, talent management, succession planning, capability building, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on complex people matters, including organisational effectiveness, talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, workforce risks, employee relations, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and leverage workforce analytics and key people metrics to assess organisational health, identify capability gaps, mitigate workforce risks, and position People & Culture as a strategic business partner.
  • Drive talent attraction, assessment, development, engagement, and retention strategies, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting digital transformation and evolving business models.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives focused on wellbeing, recognition, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), translating employee feedback into meaningful improvements across the employee lifecycle.
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including employee lifecycle management, payroll governance, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, mobility, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Streamline and standardise HR processes to enhance operational efficiency, governance, compliance, audit readiness, service excellence, and risk management through clear ownership, controls, KPIs, and escalation protocols.
  • Collaborate with regional HRIS teams to optimise cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms, overseeing system governance, integrations, process automation, workflow design, data migration, user acceptance testing, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Advance workforce analytics and management reporting capabilities, transforming HR data into actionable insights while evaluating and implementing AI-enabled HR technologies with appropriate governance, privacy, security, and human oversight.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing People & Culture team, strengthening digital, analytical, consulting, operational, and leadership capabilities while fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR leader with extensive experience partnering with senior stakeholders in complex, multinational organisations and driving both strategic and operational people initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Significant progressive HR leadership experience spanning both strategic and operational HR functions, with a strong track record of leading teams and delivering transformation initiatives within global or matrix organisations.
  • Demonstrated success in HR Business Partnering, organisational development, talent management, workforce planning, succession planning, leadership development, and change management, with the ability to translate strategy into measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong operational expertise across the full employee lifecycle, including HR governance, payroll oversight, employee relations, policy development, compliance, service delivery, process improvement, audit readiness, controls, and risk management.
  • Experience supporting complex multinational and regional organisations, demonstrating the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence diverse stakeholders, and drive alignment across matrix structures.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives, providing strategic counsel and constructively challenging decisions through sound judgement, commercial acumen, data-driven insights, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong understanding of HR technology and digital transformation, with hands-on experience using major cloud-based HCM platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM Cloud, or equivalent enterprise systems.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, resilience, and adaptability, with a commitment to developing people, fostering inclusion, and driving organisational capability.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with fluency in both English and Chinese.
  • Executive presence with the confidence and credibility to engage, influence, and challenge stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
