Salary: Up to HKD 38,000 per month

About the Role

Our client, a prestigious hotel group, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support business leaders and drive people-related initiatives across hotel operations.

This role is ideal for an HR professional with a strong business partnering mindset and hands-on experience within the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will work closely with department heads and management teams, providing strategic and operational HR support while understanding the unique structure and operational demands of a hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to business leaders and department heads.
  • Provide professional HR advice and support on employee relations, performance management, talent development, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
  • Partner with management to identify people challenges and implement effective HR solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Support organizational development initiatives and change management projects.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including grievance handling, disciplinary cases, and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams to support manpower planning and talent development initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with company policies and local employment legislation.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across hotel operations and corporate functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist and/or HRBP experience, preferably gained within the hotel, hospitality, or service industry.
  • Strong understanding of hotel organizational structures and operational functions is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience partnering with business leaders and managing stakeholders at different levels.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and business-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Good knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.

Preferred Profile

  • Experience from luxury hotels, international hotel groups, or hospitality-related organizations.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance business needs with people priorities.
  • Confident in interacting with senior leaders and handling sensitive HR matters.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent relationship-building skills.
