About the Opportunity

Our client is a prestigious and well-established property organization with a strong presence in Hong Kong and the region. They are seeking an experienced HR professional to join their team as Assistant Manager, Human Resources, supporting both strategic HR Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition functions.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with business leaders, drive people initiatives, and contribute to organizational growth through effective talent management and workforce planning. Candidates from the property or real estate sector will be an advantage, though experienced HR professionals from other industries with solid HRBP exposure are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to assigned business units, providing professional advice and people-related solutions.
  • Collaborate with management teams to understand business priorities and translate them into effective HR initiatives.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including workforce planning, sourcing strategy, selection, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Support annual people processes such as talent review, succession planning, performance evaluation, compensation and bonus review exercises.
  • Participate in manpower planning and organizational development initiatives to support business growth.
  • Drive employee engagement activities and recommend initiatives that enhance workplace culture and employee experience.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance improvement discussions, and people management challenges.
  • Ensure HR policies, practices, and procedures are implemented consistently and in compliance with local employment legislation.
  • Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the employee lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 8 years or above of progressive HR experience, with significant exposure to HR Business Partnering.
  • Proven experience supporting mid-to-large-sized organizations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience in talent acquisition and recruitment strategy execution.
  • Exposure to performance management, talent assessment, succession planning, compensation review, and employee engagement programs.
  • Strong understanding of Hong Kong employment regulations and HR best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, business acumen, and a proactive approach to partnering with leaders.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese; Mandarin would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Profile

  • Candidates from the property, real estate, construction, hospitality, or related sectors will be highly regarded.
  • HR professionals from other industries with solid HRBP experience and demonstrated success in managing both strategic and operational HR initiatives are welcome to apply
