What you'll do:

As AGM - Human Resources, you will play a central role in shaping the people strategy for one of Hong Kong’s most respected technology enterprises.

• Assist the GM - Human Resources in overseeing all aspects of HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Organisation Development, and Learning & Development to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the formulation of strategic HR plans and contribute to the design and implementation of comprehensive HR management systems that foster talent excellence across the organisation.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop workforce planning strategies, succession plans, and organisational change management initiatives that support long-term business goals.
• Drive HR transformation projects by leveraging process improvements and automation technologies to enhance operational efficiency throughout the HR function.
• Utilise workforce analytics, market intelligence, and HR metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver effective people solutions tailored to evolving business needs.
• Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels by providing value-added HR guidance and solutions that address both immediate challenges and future requirements.
• Champion initiatives that promote employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the workplace.
• Oversee compliance with local employment regulations as well as internal policies to ensure ethical practices are maintained across all HR activities.
• Support the ongoing development of HR policies and procedures by integrating feedback from employees, survey results, attrition trends, and industry best practices.
• Mentor and guide members of the HR team to build capability while fostering a collaborative environment focused on shared success.

What you bring:

To excel as AGM – Human Resources within this prominent organisation, you will bring extensive experience managing complex HR operations at scale—ideally gained within large corporate settings.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related disciplines is preferred for this role.
• More than 15 years’ experience managing diverse HR functions within large-scale enterprises is essential for success in this position.
• At least 8 years’ proven track record in people management roles where you have demonstrated your ability to inspire teams towards shared objectives.
• Comprehensive understanding of local employment regulations as well as broader HR laws governing workplace practices in Hong Kong is required.
• Exceptional organisational skills combined with meticulous attention to detail enable you to manage multiple priorities effectively within complex environments.
• A proactive mindset with a strong focus on people-centric solutions ensures you can respond sensitively to evolving business needs while maintaining employee trust.
• Advanced analytical abilities allow you to interpret workforce data—including survey results and attrition trends—to inform evidence-based decision-making processes.
• Experience leading or participating in HR process improvement projects involving automation or workflow enhancements is highly desirable for this role.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin are necessary for building rapport across multicultural teams.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate positive stakeholder relationships through empathetic listening, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving.
