Senior Human Resource Manager - Banking

A financial institution is seeking a Senior Human Resource Manager in Hong Kong to support the Head of HR Services in leading HR delivery across payroll, benefits, employee licensing and compliance.

This is an opportunity to combine HR leadership, regulatory expertise and operational improvement while developing a team and influencing stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day HR operations covering payroll, leave, benefits and workplace safety
• Oversee statutory reporting, employee licensing and regulatory compliance
• Maintain compliance with Hong Kong employment law, banking requirements and internal control frameworks
• Lead, coach and develop the HR operations team
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and service delivery
• Implement process improvements and support operational change
• Partner with business stakeholders to resolve HR matters and maintain effective service delivery

Candidate profile:

• Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
• 10+ years’ HR experience within banking or financial services
• At least 3 years’ management experience
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment regulations and banking compliance
• Understanding of internal control frameworks
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua
