Reporting to the Head of HR, this Senior C&B Manager will lead regional reward initiatives, including incentive scheme, bonus and LTI reviews. The role is responsible for compensation strategy, market benchmarking, and reward governance while acting as the key gatekeeper for payroll operations. Managing a small team, the successful candidate will partner with senior stakeholders to drive competitive and effective reward programmes across the organisation.

As part of its continued growth and transformation agenda, the company is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits to drive strategic reward initiatives and lead critical C&B operations across the business.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits will be responsible for leading the company's rewards strategy, compensation governance, and payroll oversight. This role will partner closely with senior business leaders across the region to design and implement competitive reward programmes that support business objectives and attract, motivate, and retain top talent.
The successful candidate will lead a small team and play a pivotal role in shaping compensation frameworks, incentive schemes, and long-term reward strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Rewards & Compensation Strategy

  • Lead the development, review and enhancement of compensation and benefits programmes across the region.
  • Drive annual compensation processes including salary review, bonus review, market benchmarking and budgeting.
  • Lead incentive scheme reviews and redesign projects to ensure alignment with business performance and industry best practices.
  • Review and optimise Long-Term Incentive (LTI) programmes, ensuring competitiveness and effectiveness in driving retention and performance.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on executive and employee reward frameworks based on market intelligence and analytics.

Regional Projects & HR Advisory

  • Manage and deliver regional reward-related projects and transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation-related matters, organisational changes and talent retention strategies.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and provide insights on emerging reward trends and regulatory developments.

Payroll Governance & Operations

  • Act as the key gatekeeper for payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and adherence to internal controls.
  • Oversee payroll governance, statutory requirements and vendor management where applicable.
  • Ensure payroll processes are efficient, well-controlled and compliant across all relevant jurisdictions.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach and develop a small Compensation & Benefits team.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Build capability within the team through mentoring and knowledge sharing.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive Compensation & Benefits experience, with substantial regional exposure.
  • Proven track record leading reward projects including incentive scheme review, bonus programme design and Long-Term Incentive (LTI) reviews.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation frameworks, job evaluation methodologies, market benchmarking and reward analytics.
  • Hands-on experience overseeing payroll operations and governance.
  • Prior people management experience with demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership.
  • Analytical, commercially minded and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
