Finance Manager - Private Equity Firm

A leading private equity firm is seeking a Finance Manager in Hong Kong to take ownership of financial operations, reporting, fund administration, and investor-related activities.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced finance professional to gain broad exposure across private equity, work closely with senior stakeholders and investors, and play a meaningful role in supporting the firm’s continued growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead quarterly and annual financial reporting, working closely with joint venture partners and auditors to ensure accurate and compliant financial statements
  • Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting across multiple fund entities, ensuring strong controls, accuracy, and timely delivery
  • Manage investor capital calls, distributions, and statements, helping deliver a seamless and professional investor experience
  • Drive cash management, cash flow forecasting, and foreign exchange reporting to support liquidity and informed financial decision-making
  • Oversee fund and SPV administration, including entity setup, KYC, banking, corporate governance, and external service providers
  • Support tax structuring, investment transactions, and strategic finance initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth

Candidate profile:

  • Degree-qualified with 4–8 years' relevant accounting or finance experience; private equity, fund accounting, or Big 4 experience is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting processes, with the ability to manage multiple entities and priorities
  • Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English and Chinese
  • Immediate or short-notice availability will be advantageous
