Debt Securities Operations (12-Month Contract)

A financial services organisation seeks a Debt Securities Operations professional in Hong Kong to support Fixed Income and Repo operations across international markets.

This 12-month contract offers experienced banking professionals the opportunity to oversee critical transaction processes, strengthen operational efficiency and contribute to system enhancements and new product implementation in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Support Fixed Income and Repo operations, covering bond static data, trade validation, confirmations, coupon events, settlements, funding and corporate actions
• Manage operational workflows to support accurate, timely transaction processing and effective customer service
• Identify process inefficiencies and drive workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Support system implementation, upgrades and testing to improve operational processes and system performance
• Contribute to the development, testing and implementation of new investment products
• Ensure operational activities and procedures comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications
• At least 5 years’ banking experience, with expertise in Fixed Income, Repo and Triparty operations across international markets
• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset and commitment to efficient customer service
• VBA programming skills is preferred
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a self-motivated and proactive approach
• Proficiency in English and Chinese
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours and public holiday
