CDD/KYC Maker | 1-Year Renewable Contract

A banking organisation is seeking a CDD/KYC Maker in Hong Kong to assess corporate and SME clients, investigate screening alerts and support AML risk management.

In this 1-year renewable contract, your attention to detail and sound judgement will contribute to accurate CDD assessments and regulatory compliance within a centralised function.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the centralised CDD function for Corporate & SME Banking by conducting Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and CDD reviews for periodic assessments and trigger events
• Compile detailed CDD information, including public search results, in accordance with the Bank’s standards
• Perform name screening to identify alerts related to AML/CFT and sanctions, ensuring appropriate disposition with clear justifications
• Ensure AML risks are effectively managed in accordance with global and local regulatory requirements
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in data handling and ensure the timely completion of CDD processes within assigned timeframes

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in CDD/KYC within banking or financial institutions
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and interact confidently with clients
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua is essential
