Trade Support (12month Contract)

A tier one investment bank is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join its team as a Trade Support Analyst/Associate, providing operational support for trade lifecycle management across various financial products.

This role involves ensuring seamless trade processing, managing risks, and driving process improvements while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage trade capture, lifecycle events, and settlement processes across a range of financial products
• Monitor trade processing, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales & Trading, IT, Risk, etc.) and external stakeholders (clients, agents, clearing houses) to address queries and operational needs
• Identify risks, escalate issues, and maintain strong controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Drive process improvements through automation and system enhancements
• Conduct reporting, reconciliation, and other analytical tasks as required

Candidate profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Sciences or related fields
• Experience: 1–5 years in trade support, operations, or related roles; experience with complex financial products (cash equities, equity derivatives, structured products, OTC products and security lending ops) is a plus
• Knowledge: Understanding of trade lifecycle processes, financial markets, and settlement workflows. Familiarity with APAC markets is an advantage
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like Excel; knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath) is a plus
• Competencies: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, analytical mindset, ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
