Associate, Trading Operations (Evening Shift) | FS Platform

A leading financial markets organisation seeks a Trading Operations Associate in Hong Kong to support critical trading and post-trade processes, strengthening operational efficiency and resilience as the business continues to expand across global markets.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage overnight operational activities supporting derivatives and traded products across global market hours
• Monitor trading and operational workflows to ensure a stable and efficient operating environment
• Investigate and resolve operational incidents, exceptions, and processing issues on a timely basis
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders regarding operational matters
• Escalate risks and incidents appropriately while maintaining strong operational controls
• Support business initiatives, including new product launches, process improvement, automation projects, and system enhancements
• Participate in testing activities, operational readiness exercises, and business continuity programmes
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and enhance service quality

Candidate profile:

• Degree holder in Finance, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related discipline
• 5+ years’ experience in trading operations, securities operations, middle office, trade support, clearing, or financial markets
• Proficiency in English and Chinese; Mandarin is advantageous
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage time-sensitive situations
• Experience working night shifts, rotating shifts, or extended market hours is advantageous
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to perform well under pressure
