VP, Institutional Equity Sales

Our client, a leading Chinese investment banking group, is looking for a VP, Equities Sales to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, and insurance companies.

• Distribute IPOs, secondary market offerings, and thematic research to targeted institutional accounts.

• Collaborate closely with research analysts and trading desks to deliver timely market intelligence and actionable investment ideas.

• Drive cross-border sales initiatives, covering Mainland China, Hong Kong, and overseas markets.

• Identify new business opportunities and develop tailored solutions to meet client investment needs.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal risk controls.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in institutional equity sales, ideally within a Chinese or Asian brokerage environment.

• Strong network of institutional clients and the ability to cultivate new relationships.

• Deep understanding of equity markets, IPO distribution, and secondary trading.

• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English; Cantonese is a plus.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
