Research Analyst - Investment Bank

Job Summary

• Act as a subject matter expert for industry and market research across global and Asia Pacific markets.
• Partner closely with investment banking teams to understand research requirements and deliver targeted, actionable insights.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis using internal resources, external databases, and public sources.
• Develop and maintain industry research materials, market intelligence, and knowledge resources to support client advisory activities.
• Enhance knowledge management processes and establish best practices to improve productivity and reduce repetitive tasks.
• Provide guidance on accessing, extracting, analyzing, and utilizing data from various research platforms and databases.
• Manage relationships with external data and information providers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Compliance and Market Data teams, to ensure appropriate data usage and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in business research, industry research, market intelligence, equity research, investment banking support, consulting, or a related financial services environment.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, business-focused insights.
• Business-level proficiency in English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with external vendors and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Hands-on experience using third-party financial, market intelligence, or research databases.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality output in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
