Investment Operations Manager (Collateral) - Banking

A leading financial institution seeks an Investment Operations Manager (Collateral) in Hong Kong to optimise liquidity, strengthen trade lifecycle controls, and ensure regulatory excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Own daily margining and collateral operations for ETD and OTC derivatives, ensuring accurate exposure coverage and regulatory compliance
• Oversee end-to-end settlement across Securities, FX/MM, and Derivatives, ensuring timely execution within market cut-offs
• Manage daily cash and liquidity, including funding forecasts, nostro accounts, position monitoring, and senior management reporting
• Partner with Fund Administrators, internal teams, and counterparties to ensure accurate NAVs and resolve settlement or collateral discrepancies
• Strengthen lifecycle controls, audit readiness, documentation, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and risk management

Candidate profile:

• Proven investment operations experience in banking or financial services with expertise in ETD/OTC collateral, margining, and trade settlement
• Strong knowledge of Securities, FX/MM, and Derivatives operations, including end-to-end settlement and lifecycle controls
• Hands-on experience in cash and liquidity management, funding forecasts, nostro accounts, and NAV reconciliation with Fund Administrators
• Strong risk, compliance, and audit knowledge with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and operational controls
• Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and process improvement skills across internal teams and external counterparties
