Event Manager, Insurance
My client is looking for someone who can lead high-impact events that support recruitment, talent attraction, and business growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong event logistics expertise, a well-established network of event vendors and partners, and proven experience driving agency engagement and business development initiatives. Fluency in Mandarin is required, while Mainland China market exposure or a PRC background is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute seminars, conferences, roadshows, networking events, and recognition programmes.
- Manage end-to-end event delivery, including budgeting, logistics, vendors, venues, and post-event evaluation.
- Develop innovative event initiatives to support talent attraction and business growth.
- Build and leverage a strong network of event vendors, venues, and external partners.
- Collaborate with business leaders, marketing teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful event outcomes.
- Lead and develop the events team, ensuring high-quality execution and delivery.
- Monitor event effectiveness and continuously improve participant engagement and business impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management, or related disciplines.
- 8+ years of experience in event management, agency development, recruitment marketing, business development.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale corporate, recruitment, or agency engagement events.
- Strong end-to-end event planning and logistics management skills.
- Extensive network of event resources, vendors, venues, and suppliers is a plus.
- Experience using events to support recruitment, agency growth, or business development.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Fluent Mandarin is required; English is essential. Cantonese is an advantage.
- PRC background or Mainland China market exposure is highly preferred.
