Business Analyst (Transformation) - Insurance Firm

A leading insurance firm seeks a Business Analyst (Transformation) in Hong Kong to drive digitalisation, optimise processes, and deliver impactful system enhancements.

Key responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements, facilitating stakeholder workshops to align objectives across digitalisation and system enhancement projects
• Map as-is processes and design to-be workflows, identifying improvements that optimise solution design, operational efficiency, and business outcomes
• Translate requirements into BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and technical documentation to guide development teams
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and support informed business and solution decisions
• Own UAT planning and execution, coordinating testing, tracking defects, managing stakeholder feedback, and ensuring quality readiness for implementation
• Monitor project progress, risks, and issues while delivering status updates and creating user guides and training materials to support adoption

Candidate profile:

• 3–5 years’ Business Analyst experience within life insurance, preferably across Operations or Transformation environments
• AML experience with strong understanding of anti-money laundering protocols and compliance requirements
• Experience across product development, compliance, agency management, distribution systems, CRM, or digital transformation projects
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, organisational, and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Solid understanding of SDLC with hands-on experience across Agile and Waterfall methodologies and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Proactive and innovation-driven mindset with a passion for insurance transformation, continuous improvement, and delivering business impact
