Trade Support - Global Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund

A leading global multi-strategy hedge fund seeks a Trade Support Specialist in Hong Kong to strengthen trade operations across diverse asset classes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and seamless trade execution.

This is a leading global multi-strategy hedge fund. Following sustained strong performance, the organisation is now expanding its team.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for trade support, settlement, trade booking, reconciliation, confirmation, and communication with counterparties for Cash Equity, Equity Swaps, FX, Futures & Options, Fixed Incomes (Bonds/Repos/CDS), Rates and other OTC/Exotic products
• Ensure accurate processing of transactions on relevant products and ensure daily reports are met with both quality and timeliness
• Stock Loan processing and reconciliation
• Cash Transfer + Margin Payment
• Daily processing of corporate actions covering the full lifecycle from announcement to payment
• Identify and escalate workflow issues & any operational controls gaps
• Automate, optimise or streamline work processes whenever possible
• Documenting Ops manual and procedures
• Projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

Candidate profile:

• University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Strong understanding of derivatives & products in other markets
• Strong problem-solving skill is a must
• Positive mindset and a Can-do attitude
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment & to work under pressure
• Strong sense of responsibility & good work ethic
• Good command of spoken and written English
