Trader (Multi-Asset) - Global Hedge Fund

A leading global hedge fund seeks a Trader (Multi-Asset) in Hong Kong to deliver cross-asset execution, connect global portfolio managers, and drive trading performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide execution services across different asset classes to portfolio managers globally (ie. Fixed Income, Equity, FX, Credit, Commods + Digital)
• Source liquidity through various execution channels and manage relationships with counterparties (banks/brokers)
• Ensure best execution practices with low transaction slippage
• Monitor market moves/flow/themes, and highlight those to PMs if needed
• Monitor trade ideas from sell-side, and highlight those to PMs if needed

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Cross asset class experience: FI, FX, Credit, Rates, Equities, ETDs
• A strong understanding of financial markets and different financial products
• Minimum 2 years’ execution trading experience (open to trade support/trade assistant candidates)
• Coding skills will be a plus: VBA, SQL, Python or other programming languages
• Good problem-solving capabilities, evidence of process improvements
