Quantity Surveyor - Senior Quantity Surveyor(Building)

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor/Project Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying and resolving any cost variances
  • Prepare and negotiate contract documentation, variations, and final accounts
  • Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Provide commercial and contractual advice to the project team
  • Support the implementation of effective procurement strategies
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Assist with the preparation of tenders and bids

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • At least 3 years' Civil relevant experience
  • Professional Quantity Surveying qualification (e.g. MRICS, MCIOB) will be added advantage
  • Substantial experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor, ideally in the civil engineering sector
  • Excellent understanding of construction contracts, claims management, and commercial processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
