Facility Manager (Data Centre, Service Provider)

A leading engineering organisation seeks a Facility Manager (Data Centre, Service Provider) in Hong Kong to optimise critical infrastructure, ensure maximum uptime, and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Own daily data centre operations, ensuring HVAC, power, cooling and critical systems maintain peak performance and uptime
• Lead preventive maintenance planning to minimise operational risks, optimise resources and maintain infrastructure reliability
• Manage end-to-end vendor relationships, contracts and SLAs to ensure service quality, performance and accountability
• Control operational budgets and maintenance costs, driving resource optimisation and identifying opportunities for savings
• Ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance while leading audits and coordinating rapid emergency response when required
• Lead and develop the facility team while driving continuous improvements and reporting operational, financial and compliance performance to management

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
• 10+ years’ facility management experience, with proven expertise in data centre or mission-critical environments
• Strong leadership experience managing facility engineering teams and complex infrastructure projects
• Expertise in contract negotiation, vendor governance, contractor management, budgeting and operational cost control
• In-depth knowledge of local safety regulations, building codes and data centre compliance standards
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua, with post-qualification supervisory experience and recognised HKIE/engineering membership
