Project Director/ Senior Project Manager(Fitting Out, APAC)

Our client is looking for a Project Director/ Senior Project Manager to join their team

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the APAC fitting out business, ensuring safe, profitable, and high-quality project delivery.

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of engineering and operation.

• Provide strategic oversight of all projects, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on project strategy, budget planning, risk management, procurement, and execution.

• Identify and convert opportunities within existing client accounts, supporting the continued growth of the Projects business.

• Develop and maintain a strong project pipeline and revenue forecast.

• Partner closely with the General Manager to develop and execute the growth strategy for the APAC Projects business.

• Take ownership of the Projects P&L, including revenue, margins, forecasting, financial reporting, and profitability.

• Lead project governance, commercial management, contract administration, and change management processes.

• Ensure robust project controls are in place across planning, procurement, risk, cost, and reporting.

• Oversee resource planning and workforce utilization to support business growth and project delivery requirements.

• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline

• Minimum of 10 years of Project Management, Fitting Out or other related experience.

• Proven leadership experience managing project delivery businesses within construction, fit-out, engineering, or building services environments

• Demonstrated P&L management and commercial leadership experience

• Profound understanding of global markets and varying requirements for our products and services, with a special focus on APAC, the Middle East, Africa, Indian and, to a limited extend, European markets

• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with strong market and business sense

• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Cantonese Chinese is essential

• Frequent travelling is required
