Senior Regional Finance Analyst | Retail MNC | 40k

A leading retail multinational firm seeks a Senior Regional Finance Analyst in Hong Kong to turn APAC financial data into insights that guide scenario planning, capital allocation, and business growth.

As a Senior Regional Finance Analyst, you will lead APAC financial planning, reporting, analysis, and process improvement to support strategic decisions, optimise performance, and strengthen financial governance.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead APAC budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning by consolidating country inputs and aligning financial plans with corporate objectives and local market realities
• Build driver-based financial models for scenario planning, capital allocation, market entry, store rollouts, and profitability analysis by country or channel
• Partner with commercial, operations, and merchandising leaders to analyse sales, pricing, promotions, P&L performance, and margins, recommending actions to improve productivity and trade investment ROI
• Own regional retail reporting and KPI dashboards using Power BI or Tableau, while standardising reporting formats, automating workflows, and improving data governance
• Support month-end close, variance analysis, and reporting packages while ensuring internal control compliance, audit readiness, reporting accuracy, and continuous process improvement

Candidate profile:

• 4+ years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or retail finance within a multinational organisation with regional exposure
• Advanced Excel skills with experience building financial models for scenario planning and capital allocation decisions
• Hands-on experience with SAP or Oracle, plus Power BI, Tableau, or SmartView for financial data management and automated dashboards
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; CPA, ACCA, or CMA highly desirable
• Excellent English communication, with Cantonese or Mandarin advantageous; strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, internal controls compliance, audit readiness, and process improvement through reporting standardisation and workflow automation
