Key responsibilities:

As an Accounting Officer, you will oversee accounts payable operations, maintain accurate financial records, support period-end close and compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient financial processes.

  • Own end-to-end accounts payable processing, including verifying and recording vendor invoices, expense claims, and payment requests accurately and in line with company policies
  • Maintain accurate AP and general ledger records, reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate payment runs and payment status updates with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Support month-end and year-end closing by preparing AP-related accruals, prepayments, and schedules, while maintaining complete documentation for audit and statutory compliance
  • Contribute to wider accounting activities, including accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and basic financial reporting as required
  • Collaborate across departments and with external vendors to resolve queries, maintain smooth workflows, support knowledge sharing, and contribute to continuous improvement

Candidate profile:

  • Higher Diploma, Associate Degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; LCCI Higher or equivalent, with 1–3 years’ relevant accounting experience
  • Solid accounts payable and invoice management experience within a corporate environment, with exposure to Hong Kong accounting practices and basic statutory compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for large data sets; SAP, Oracle, ACCPAC or similar accounting systems experience is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, organisation, and ability to manage transactions effectively during tight deadlines and month-end closing
  • Effective written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage, with immediate availability preferred and willingness to support other accounting functions
