Finance Manager | Trading Business | 60k

A leading trading business seeks a Finance Manager to strengthen financial oversight and commercial insight across its Hong Kong operations, supporting trading performance and business growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead full-set accounting across GL, AP, AR, month-end close and reconciliations
• Prepare management accounts and financial statements, analysing trading performance, margins and inventory
• Partner with traders on deal-level P&L, landed costs and inventory exposure
• Validate trade economics, including import/export, LC/TT, freight and logistics costs
• Own cash flow, liquidity and multi-currency management, including banking and trade finance facilities
• Oversee audit, tax and HKFRS compliance while leading the finance function and driving improvements

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; HKICPA or equivalent preferred
• 6–8 years’ finance experience, including 3–4 years in trading or commodity trading
• Strong experience in trading P&L, inventory accounting, mark-to-market and landed cost analysis
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess trade economics and profitability
• Proven ability to partner with senior traders and regional leaders while mentoring finance professionals
• Strong exposure to HKFRS, audit, tax and cash management; fluent English required, with Cantonese or Mandarin an advantage
