Due to continued business growth, they are seeking a high-calibre Assistant FP&A Manager to support financial planning, analysis, and project performance management across the region.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Assistant FP&A Manager will play a key role in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting activities. The successful candidate will partner closely with project teams and business leaders to provide commercial insights and enhance financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis, and financial performance reviews.
Partner with project managers and operational teams to monitor project profitability, revenue recognition, costs, and cash flow.
Perform project accounting analysis, including project margins, WIP, project forecasts, and cost tracking.
Analyse business trends and provide actionable recommendations to management.
Drive improvements in financial planning processes, reporting systems, and data accuracy.
Assist in the preparation of board packs, regional reports, and ad hoc financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and corporate policies.
Support business cases, investment evaluations, and strategic initiatives as required.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or management accounting.
Prior experience within an engineering, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or project-based environment is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of project accounting, project costing, revenue recognition, and project financial management.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced multinational environment.
Immediate availability or short notice candidates will be highly preferred.
