Regional Finance Manager | 65k

My client is seeking a hands-on and commercially minded Regional Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting and month-end closing activities across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes for multiple countries or regions.
• Coordinate with local finance teams and business stakeholders to ensure timely submission of financial information.
• Review regional management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and intercompany transactions.
• Investigate variances between actual results, budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, and provide clear explanations to management.
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements.
• Support the preparation of regional financial reports, management presentations, and performance analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve closing timelines, reporting accuracy, and finance processes across the region.
• Work closely with tax, audit, treasury, and other corporate functions when required.
• Provide financial guidance and support to country finance teams and operational stakeholders.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and other regional finance projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Qualified accountant or professional accounting qualification is preferred.
• Relevant experience in regional finance, reporting, or controllership.
• Hands-on experience managing month-end closing across multiple regions.
• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables and lookup functions.
• Experience with ERP systems; Power BI is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
