The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and corporate policies.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis activities.
• Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Partner closely with operations teams to support business decisions, improve profitability, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, compliance processes, and corporate governance standards.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Support regional and global finance initiatives, process improvements, and system enhancement projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and accounting processes.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Candidates with knowledge in project accounting would be highly advantegous.
• Strong hands-on experience managing a full set of accounts and financial reporting responsibilities.
• Strong business partnering experience with the ability to work effectively with operational stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills preferred.
• Fluent Chinese & English communication skills, both written and spoken.
