Senior Accountant | Group Consolidation | 46k

A leading listed group is seeking a Senior Accountant in Hong Kong to take ownership of group consolidation, financial reporting, and performance analysis across a multi-entity regional environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to broaden their regional exposure, work closely with finance stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements that strengthen financial reporting and business decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation, ensuring accurate financial statements in line with HKFRS/IFRS
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and FX translation across a multi-entity regional group
• Review overseas reporting packages to ensure accuracy, policy alignment, and timely group reporting
• Analyse group financial performance and deliver variance insights and commentary to support management decisions
• Coordinate interim and year-end audits, including audit schedules and statutory reporting requirements
• Partner with regional finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and process improvements across consolidation and reporting

Candidate profile:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, with 3–5+ years’ experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, or statutory audit
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent); Big 4 experience is a strong advantage
• Strong knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS, with hands-on experience in consolidation, intercompany eliminations, FX translation, and financial reporting
• Proficient in ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite, with advanced Excel skills; Macros are a plus
• Experience in regional or multi-entity environments, with strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines
• Excellent English and Cantonese communication skills, with Mandarin highly advantageous for regional coordination
