Finance Manager | fast growing SME

This role will oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and process improvement across the region. About the Role

Reporting directly to senior management, the Finance Manager will oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities across multiple SEA markets. This is a highly visible role that requires a hands-on and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business growth, improving financial processes, and leading a small finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions, including month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management reports and financial analysis for senior management
Support regional business expansion initiatives across Southeast Asia, including financial planning, operational setup, and compliance matters
Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and enhance operational efficiency
Partner closely with business stakeholders to provide commercial insights and support strategic decision-making
Monitor working capital, treasury activities, and financial performance across regional operations
Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Assist with ad hoc projects, system implementations, and business transformation initiatives as required

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred
0 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally gained within fast-growing SMEs, start-ups, or dynamic multinational environments
Experience supporting regional operations or multi-country entities within Southeast Asia is highly advantageous
Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial controls and compliance requirements
Hands-on approach with the ability to roll up sleeves and manage both strategic and operational responsibilities
Proven people management experience with the ability to coach and develop team members
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
