Assistant Finance Manager (7-mth Contract) | Science Park | 40k

A leading technology organisation seeks an Assistant Finance Manager (7-month contract) in Hong Kong to strengthen financial accuracy and compliance, supporting business operations while gaining professional development in a collaborative environment culture.

Key responsibilities:

• Own month-end/year-end close, coordinating across departments to deliver accurate, timely financial statements meeting HKFRS and regulatory standards
• Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to provide actionable insights for senior management and business decisions
• Oversee daily AP, AR, and general ledger operations, ensuring accounting accuracy, compliance, and effective transaction management
• Lead audit support by liaising with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring complete documentation and timely responses to statutory requirements
• Drive finance process improvements and ad-hoc projects, leveraging advanced MS Excel and SAP, while collaborating with stakeholders in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

Candidate profile:

• 5+ years’ accounting and finance experience, ideally with Big 4 or reputable CPA firm audit exposure
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification highly preferred
• Strong HKFRS and Hong Kong tax knowledge, with solid understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Office proficiency; SAP experience advantageous, with immediate availability preferred
