A renowned foreign bank seeks an Associate Relationship Manager - Relationship Manager, Vice President (ARM - RM, VP) in Hong Kong to drive corporate growth through strategic financial solutions, strengthening client relationships and portfolio success.

Position overview:

The company is seeking a banking professional for its Corporate Banking team. Depending on your experience level, you will either take a lead role in driving portfolio growth and complex transactions (Vice President track) or partner closely with senior team members to manage accounts and execute credit operations (Associate track).

Key responsibilities:

• Portfolio Growth & Client Management: Expand, deepen, and retain major corporate accounts (HK Corp / MNC / Blue-chips Conglomerates) through strategic planning, driving revenue, profitability, and relationship growth. Act as the primary or secondary point of contact for clients
• Product Origination & Cross-Border Execution: Originate and execute a comprehensive suite of financing products—including corporate lending, structured finance, transaction banking, and treasury. Partner with regional and international branches to deliver integrated cross-border coverage
• Transaction Leadership & Credit Analysis: Lead or support complex transactions from inception to closing. Prepare credit applications, evaluate financial health, and conduct thorough risk assessments
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Credit & Investment teams on deal structuring, financial analysis, and approval workflows. Coordinate internal departments for seamless facility setup and loan documentation

Candidate profile:

• Education: Degree in Business, Banking, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Experience:
• For VP Track: Around 7-12 years’ background in corporate banking, credit analysis, financial advisory, auditing, or rating agencies
• For Associate Track: Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in corporate banking or financial services
• Technical & Analytical Competencies:
• Exceptional ability to dissect complex credit financial data, assess business risks, and exercise sound judgment on credit opportunities
• Solid foundational knowledge of corporate banking solutions (lending, cash management, etc.)
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin strongly preferred, particularly for the VP track)
