This is a key leadership position, responsible for managing mission-critical data centre operations and facilities. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of a data centre. This role offers an excellent platform for demonstrating your expertise in infrastructure management, incident escalation, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data centre, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Manage all aspects of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance and property management services
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across all operational activities
Implement projects to enhance current facility capacity, efficiency, sustainability, reliability and safety
Lead delivery of data centre projects in both new build and live mission critical environments
Manage incident escalation in compliance with company emergency response protocols
Guide continuous improvement of processes by managing and guiding subordinates
Provide oversight to support the growth and development of the data centre management team
Requirements:
Minimum 15 years' experience in management of Data Centre critical facilities and property services in a mission critical environment
Membership of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Chartered Building Services Engineer, Chartered Electrical Engineer or equivalent is an advantage
Experience in managing a sizeable team is needed
Strong knowledge of Tier 3 or 4 data centre mission critical environment infrastructure: chiller plants, CRAC/CRACH, UPS systems, emergency generators, building management system and site facilities management
In-depth knowledge of data centre operations, maintenance and continuous processes improvement
Experience in data centre Safety and Security measures
Strong vendor management experience
Proven ability to identify risk, put in place preventive measures and effectively respond to risk incidents
