ASSISTANT INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER

Our client is seeking an Assistant Internal Audit Manager to join their dynamic team in Hong Kong. What you'll do:
As an Assistant Internal Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in
Deliver hands-on assurance work including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and tracking of audit findings implementation status
Lead meetings, analyse data, review documents, prepare working papers, develop and document findings and recommendations
Manage senior stakeholders across multiple departments/geographical areas
Plan and deploy internal audit resources to ensure audits are completed on time and on budget
Perform high standard quality audits through understanding the business, industry and risks
Obtain relevant data and information including dealing with ambiguity and exercising professional judgement and scepticism
Perform and manage ad hoc projects and tasks including handling of whistleblowing investigations
Provide coaching, training, supervision and feedback to internal audit team
Maintain professional development activities including external and internal training
What you bring:
Degree from reputable institution and relevant professional qualifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent designation
Minimum 4 years’ internal or external audit experience in an internationally recognised accounting firm or corporation
Knowledge and experience of internal audit best practice is preferred
Experience of leading small teams to deliver audit work is an advantage
Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently in a matrix and remote environment
Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to convince others
Strong report writing skills with problem-solving ability
Commercially focused with ability to create good working relationships with teammates from various business units
