Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Internal Control Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to maintain and enforce the company's framework of financial controls, including compliance management and exception handling. The successful candidate will provide objective assurance on the effectiveness of the company's risk management system and its internal control environment. This position plays a crucial role in developing strategic plans for adopting upcoming Internal Control reporting requirements and supporting the implementation of required control standards.
What you'll do:
As a Regional Internal Control Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our client's financial operations. You will work closely with senior executives to enforce the company's financial controls, ensuring compliance at all levels. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing objective assurance on risk management systems, contributing significantly to governance processes. You will also liaise with Group Internal Audit on key findings from audits, helping shape future strategies. Your role extends beyond traditional responsibilities, offering opportunities for involvement in ERM activities.
* Work closely with Head of Internal Controls
* Provide objective assurance on the effectiveness of the company's risk management system and its internal control environment
* Support divisions in accomplishing objectives and requirements on internal controls by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve risk management, control, and governance processes
* Maintain close liaison with Group Internal Audit on key findings from internal audits
* Update and maintain the control framework for respective divisions/regions with any system and process modifications and changes
* Produce Audit & Risk Committee and Executive Committee papers as required
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Regional Internal Control Manager position brings a wealth of knowledge in accounting principles and finance concepts. Understands IFRS and the ability to adapt to changing business needs, performing tasks within tight deadlines. Her strong planning, analytical, and organisational skills set her apart. Proficient in Microsoft Office products and fluent in English. With over 8 years of experience in a related field, holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finance concepts, practices, and procedures
* Ability to adapt to changing business needs and perform tasks within tight deadlines
* Strong planning skills, analytical skills, and organisational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
* Fluency in English, both written and verbal
* Over 8 years of experience in related field
